Best Cancer Prevention: Sunshine (Sunscreens Cause Cancer)

The sun has been given a bad name by both the medical profession and the mainstream media. This is yet another example of how corporate financial interests are controlling the news, resulting in reports that directly contradict scientific research and endanger public health.

The truth is that studies show sun exposure reduces the risk of cancer significantly and even prevents and treats skin cancer. Sunnier parts of the world tend to have lower cancer rates, contradicting the hype about the sun causing cancer.

Think about it logically. There are people far from the West that spend most of their time outdoors who have some of the lowest cancer rates in the world. Also, studies show that people who develop cancer, even skin cancer, did not have more exposure to the sun than those who don't develop cancer.

Research shows we need exposure to the sun in order to be healthy. Hospitals used to actually push their patients out into the sun each day to get sun exposure.

And by all means, do not listen to what the media says about sunscreen. Sunscreens and sun block actually cause cancer. This occurs in several ways.

Sunscreens actually contain cancer-producing chemicals that are absorbed, through the skin, directly into the blood stream.

Once applied, sunscreen lotion soaks through to the deeper layers of the skin. The chemicals on the skin's lower levels then react with the sun to cause cancer. This absorption also leaves the top layer of skin exposed and unprotected, making the cream worthless.

Furthermore, the body is unable to absorb sunshine with the presence of sunscreen and therefore unable to create vitamin D, which according to one study prevents 77% of all cancers, including lung, breast, and brain tumors.

So why then does the media urge us to use sunscreen, cover up, and avoid the sun? Take a look at the sunscreen industry's relationship to the American Cancer Society, and you'll have your answer.

The sunscreen industry donates a portion of its sales to the American Cancer Society which, in turn, runs public service ads urging people to use sunscreen.

If you think the American Cancer Society rejoiced at the news that people could reduce their cancer risk by 77% virtually for free, then you don't know anything about them. They actually were quick to suggest that people not take vitamin D to reduce cancer risk, contrary to medical research, and they certainly haven't promoted the idea of getting it from the great outdoors.

They oppose vitamin D because pharmaceutical companies can't patent the sun. The media has people running for shade and spreading cancer-causing chemicals all over their faces because it keeps the American Cancer Society in business.

The American Cancer Society was formed to make sure a cure is never found, and has suppressed many of the ones that already have been. They hold a tight reign over the media and medical journals, where natural cures for cancer are not allowed to be reported.

Every news story that even mentions the word "cancer" must be submitted for approval, thus positive reports concerning natural therapies and negative ones about mainstream medicine are weeded out.

The American Cancer Society also fights against the regulation of toxins and has been completely silent concerning harmful chemicals in our environment that cause cancer. Why aren't they protesting cancerous food additives, for example?

Cancer is a multi-billion dollar industry, and the American Cancer Society is the wealthiest non-profit organization in the world.

You may want to read more about the American Cancer Society and its financial ties to chemical companies, pesticides, drug makers, and radiology equipment manufacturers.

The world's foremost leading authority on the sun and vitamin D is Dr. Michael Holick, who says the sun prevents cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis, depression, heart disease, and obesity.

Contrary to the medical field's claim that vitamin D deficiency is rare simply because it's "produced by the sun," Dr. Holick says it's an American epidemic. His report, "The Healing Power of Sunlight and Vitamin D," is available for free.

Studies show that people with dark skin are at higher risk for skin cancer than those of lighter skin color, which may be related to Dr. Holick's discovery that they're more prone to be vitamin D deficient.

Now let's talk about sunburn. Obviously that's not healthy, but you may not realize that sunburn is not mostly the result of exposure to the sun's ultraviolet rays. It is more a matter of antioxidant deficiency, such as those found in berries and spirulina.

"Sunburn is actually caused by nutritional deficiencies that leave the skin vulnerable to DNA mutations from radiation, but if you boost your nutrition and protect your nervous system with plant-based nutrients, you'll be naturally resistant to sunburn."

- Mike Adams, The Health Ranger

Proper nutrition allows us to build protection from sunburn from the inside out.

Sun sensitivity can also be produced by fluoride, so you might try switching to non-fluoridated bottled water, if your tap water is fluoridated. Once I did this, I was finally free to enjoy the sun after many years of being unable to.

Dr. F. Batmanghelij recommends getting at least 15 minutes of sun twice daily, exposing as much skin as possible. Make sure you drink plenty of water, and be sure to get enough calcium, which is essential for vitamin D absorption.

There are many options for cancer patients. I will be writing more about this, but in the meantime, visit the Cancer Tutor, and watch this video about a successful cancer treatment as well. There is much that the media isn't allowed to report.

Does this mean that we should go back to the old fashioned stay-all-day-at-the-beach, or that some sun exposure is fine, within healthy limits?

My mother was a sun worshiper for a long time. A couple of years ago she had some skin growth points on her face, and a dermatologist removed them, telling her that if untouched they could grow into skin cancer.

She was told to avoid prologued exposure to the sun. She still takes sun bathes, but for shorter periods of time (once or twice a day during the summer, for up to an hour at the time). Is that a healthy dose? Is getting our skin perpetually darkened by sun exposure healthy?

I like Dr. Batmanghelidj's suggestion of 15 minutes in the sun twice daily, exposing as much skin as possible.

I haven't seen any proof that the sun causes cancer, and I have looked for it. There seem to be many claims to this effect, but it can't be substantiated.

Skin cancer is much more a matter of a lack of nutrition than sun exposure. The sun is an effective treatment for skin cancer.

This explains why mankind survived all these years in the sun without cancer. The link is not the sun, it's poor nutrition and bombardment of harmful chemicals. Otherwise, cancer would have been just as common 50 years ago as it is today.

You mother should be sure to get good nutrition, raw fruits and vegetables + high quality supplements, drink 1/2 her weight in ounces of water daily, and be sure to get plenty of antioxidants to protect her skin while in the sun.

It's impossible with proper nutrition to have cancer. There are certain conditions which must exist to allow it, and these can only occur with a lack of nutrients. It's impossible now to get all those nutrients from produce alone, which is why we must take high quality supplements.

Based on what I've read, she's doing a wonderful thing for her health. Thanks for your question =)

Thank you for your kind and prompt answer. My mother, from all people, has always been on top of us to make sure we eat our veggies, as varied as possible.
One more question on this subject (I thought I put it here already, but I don't see it now):
What I have heard for quite a while is that the problem today is that, due to the Ozone Layer depletion, the UV rays of the sun are not filtered as they used to, a few years ago.
In places closer to the Southern Pole, like Tasmania or the Patagonia, there are daily warnings on the amount of Ozone Layer thickness, so that in days when the Ozone Layer is too thin, people try and stay out of the sun as much as possible.
Is that a wise thing to do? Is Ozone Layer Depletion, to the best of you knowledge, a real problem?

Olivia Love Worthy said...

I apologize - I thought I had answered this question a long time ago.

There are a lot of people who believe the ozone hype is a hoax.

I'm not 100% sure about that, but there are parts of the world where the people live out in the sun most of the day and they don't have cancer at all, so it doesn't seem to be affecting them.

When we are exposed to the sun's ultraviolet rays, that's when we produce vitamin D, and that protects us from cancer. Therefore we need exposure to the poison to produce the cure.

so then i was wondering, is it safe to stay in the sun all day without being affected in a negative way by the sun? and what happens when you get sun burnt?

Olivia Love Worthy said...

As the article says, sunburn is the result of a lack of antioxidants. It is a nutrient deficiency. By getting good nutrition, we build up protection to the sun from the inside out.

As far as staying in the sun all day, a person can overdo it, but the chances of getting cancer from too little exposure to the sun are much higher than too much exposure, and that is exactly what is happening in the West right now. We see that the cultures experiencing regular daily sun exposure and healthy dietary habits don't get cancer.

Olivia Love Worthy,
You are risking your life (I’m deadly serious!) by de-masking rules and regulations of the drug companies and other money makers that produce a sun block, for example. $$$ help them to be un-ethical and inhumane. I’m not sure that the Nazi’s were relocated, but I am sure that a crime against humanity is going on here.
I have not been using sun block in my life time (a retirement age is close) but I noticed that although I can spend entire day in bikini in my sunny back yard without any sun burns, I can take just a few hours at the ocean shore and I’m burned if I don’t stop sun bathing.
It's impossible with proper nutrition to have cancer, you wrote.
Wow, that’s a serious statement!
I believe that you are right. I just learned from some of my friends that they prefer to take a pill rather than change their eating habits; have an instant surgery instead of getting a second opinion; take another pill for a heartburn and insomnia after overeating.
Anyway, I wasn’t kidding about the risk you are taking; people like you have been terminated… and there are stories about them in the hard covers on Amazon.com Stay safe!
